President Bola Tinubu has emphasized that Nigeria’s sustainable growth relies on cultivating a leadership class driven by selflessness and public accountability. The President made the call on Sunday at the 70th birthday thanksgiving service of former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Dr. Boss Mustapha.

Represented at the event by the current SGF, Senator George Akume, President Tinubu noted that true national progress requires individuals who look beyond narrow interests to focus on the broader collective welfare.

"Nigeria needs men and women who value what transcends personal interest, but rather a devotion to public service," Tinubu stated, describing the milestone celebration as an occasion to honor a life defined by institutional loyalty and integrity.
